The warm, richly figured timber is particularly evident across the drawer fronts and outer panels, contrasting neatly with the dark leather and giving the piece a restrained post-war British character. Twin pedestals flank a generous central kneehole, each fitted with a bank of drawers with simple rectangular mahogany handles, while the upper drawers retain their keyholes. Concealed pull-out slides sit immediately beneath the desktop on both sides, extending the usable working surface when required.

H: 71.5cm W: 153cm D: 91.5cm Knee hole: 65.5cm/66cm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0947/9539/9549/files/large-mahogany-desk-by-waring-and-gillows-c1955-with-newly-fitted-black-leather-top_34_49804a_primary.jpg?v=1789296893
https://patinology.co.uk/products/large-mahogany-desk-by-waring-gillow-c-1955-with-newly-fitted-black-leather-top
