Known as the Stokkenkast, the design is constructed from three long veneered plywood shelves supported by a rhythmic arrangement of slender solid timber uprights. Each shelf terminates in distinctive upturned ends, formed through bent laminated construction and finished with softly rounded edges that emphasise the lightness of the structure. The warm brown veneer is complemented by the cylindrical supports, which pass through the shelves and extend slightly above the upper level as characteristic peg-like details.

H: 73.5cm W: 139.5cm D: 34cm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0947/9539/9549/files/midcentury-dutch-stokkenkast-shelving-unit-by-willem-lutjens-for-gouda-den-boer-c1975_34_49802a.jpg?v=1789296616
https://patinology.co.uk/products/midcentury-dutch-stokkenkast-shelving-unit-by-willem-lutjens-for-gouda-den-boer-c-1975
