Antique Japanese Hand Carved & Ebonised Plant Stand by Liberty of London c.1920

An early 20th-century ebonised display pedestal with a tall, slender profile and Japanese-inspired carved decoration. The square upper platform has softly rounded corners and a raised floral border surrounding a plain central panel, providing a practical surface for a ceramic, sculpture or trailing plant. Four gently bowed supports create an open, lantern-like silhouette, each decorated with restrained incised motifs before flaring outward into splayed feet.
