Midcentury Extending Teak Dining Table by Skovmand and Andersen c.1965

A Danish midcentury dining table by Skovmand & Andersen, dating to circa 1965 and constructed in richly toned teak. In its closed form, the top has a rounded square profile with softly curved corners, a moulded edge and carefully matched grain. The shaped apron follows the contours of the surface, flowing neatly into four slender, gently tapering legs and giving the design a light, well-resolved appearance.
