Midcentury Fresco Range Sideboard by G-Plan on new tapered legs c.1975

A British midcentury teak credenza by G Plan, combining a long, low profile with generous enclosed storage and the restrained detailing associated with the company’s 1970s furniture. The broad rectangular cabinet is finished in warm teak, with carefully matched grain running across four flush-fronted doors. Each pair is opened by sculpted recessed handles, their softly rounded form providing a subtle contrast to the otherwise linear façade. The cabinet has been sympathetically raised on newly added tapered timber legs, which give the piece a lighter, more elevated profile while complementing the warm teak and midcentury character.
