Midcentury Sideboard in Flamed Mahogany by Greaves & Thomas, Stamped 1967
A British midcentury credenza by Greaves & Thomas, dated 1967, combining generous storage with richly figured flamed mahogany veneers. The long, low cabinet is arranged with two wide upper drawers, each fitted with a pair of recessed rectangular brass handles, above four hinged doors with small circular brass pulls. The door fronts display particularly expressive flame figuring, creating strong vertical movement across the façade while retaining the clean, architectural proportions associated with British furniture of the period. A darker mahogany plinth and stretchered base provide visual contrast, supported on slender tapering legs finished with brass-capped feet.
