Midcentury Teak Coffee Table by G Plan c.1965

A British low table by G Plan, dating to circa 1965, with a warm teak finish and the clean, restrained proportions associated with the company’s post-war furniture. The rectangular top is framed by a slightly raised border with softly mitred corners, creating a subtle contrast between the central grain and the darker surrounding edge. A gently moulded apron sits beneath, flowing into four straight legs with softened corners and neatly resolved joints.
