Midcentury Teak Small Sideboard by G Plan c.1965

A compact English teak cabinet by G Plan, dating to circa 1965 and designed with the clean, practical character associated with British midcentury furniture. The rectangular case is raised on a recessed plinth base, giving the piece a grounded profile while keeping the exterior visually uncluttered. Two hinged doors are finished with inset sculpted timber handles, their gently rounded forms providing a subtle decorative detail against the warm, evenly figured grain. A softly moulded front edge runs beneath the top, adding definition without interrupting the restrained geometry.
