Midcentury Danish Extending Teak Dining Table & Six Chairs by Ansager Mobler c.1965

A coordinated 1960s Scandinavian dining suite produced in Denmark by Ansager Møbler, comprising an extendable teak table and six matching chairs. The table has a generously proportioned rectangular top with softened corners, rounded edges and carefully matched grain across the surface. Its centre-opening construction allows the dining area to be increased when required, while twin trestle-style supports provide stability without visually weighing down the design. Each base is formed with rounded uprights and an open lower section, echoing the curved profile of the tabletop.
