Midcentury Danish Set of Three Nesting Tables by B.R. Gelsted c.1965

A trio of Danish midcentury side tables produced by Br. Gelsted, dating to circa 1965. Crafted in richly toned rosewood, each piece displays pronounced linear grain across the rectangular top, framed by softly rounded edges with a subtle raised lip. The open supports are formed as continuous rectangular leg frames with curved inner corners, creating a light architectural profile despite the depth and warmth of the timber. Small exposed fittings and neatly joined stretchers emphasise the functional construction associated with Scandinavian modern furniture.
