Midcentury Nest of Four Tables by Richard Hornby c.1965

A graduated set of four 1960s tables designed by Richard Hornby, combining warm-toned hardwood frames with richly figured veneered tops. Each piece follows the same restrained rectangular form, with slim aprons, square-section legs and subtle darker edging that neatly defines the surface. The tables decrease evenly in height and width, allowing all four to slide beneath the largest when not in use while retaining a compact, orderly profile.
