Midcentury Teak Highboard by G Plan c.1965

A British 1960s teak storage cabinet by G Plan, combining generous capacity with the sculpted detailing associated with the company’s post-war furniture. The upper section is arranged with two enclosed cabinets flanking an open central display area with a shelf, while the lower section provides a further pair of double-door cabinets alongside three central drawers. Gently shaped recessed handles are carved in contrasting darker timber, introducing a tactile detail across the otherwise restrained façade. The warm teak grain remains clearly visible throughout, with softly curved outer edges lending the substantial form a more fluid character.
