Set of 4 Model 400 Windsor Hoop-Backed Chairs in Elm & Beech by Ercol c.1965

A set of four Ercol Model 400 Windsor dining chairs, made in England circa 1965. Designed with Ercol’s distinctive hoop backs, slender turned spindles and gently shaped solid elm seats, the chairs have a light, elegant profile typical of British midcentury furniture. The pale blonde finish highlights the contrast between the expressive elm grain of the seats and the smoother beech used for the legs, stretchers and back frames.
